CREATIVITY LIVES HERE: Uniko Studio Introducing Home Sweet Home

Hello there! Today I'm sharing with you my card using Uniko's new stamp set called "Home Sweet Home". Beginning July 11th, 2015, you will be able to purchase this set HERE along with the other new sets being released this month!!

In case you missed it a couple days ago, here is the Sneak Peek photo of the stamp set.

I used a watercolor technique on this card, but I'm not too thrilled with how it came out. First, I heat embossed the house using black embossing powder. Then, using the Tim Holtz Distress Markers, I colored in each section of the house using different colors. I even added a bit of color outside the house to make it look like grass, but it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Anyway, after coloring, I sprayed it with water and then let it dry. The panel was die-cut with MFT Stitched Rectangles die, and adhered to the card base.

How funny... it's the watercolour effect that drew me to this card first! Yes the grass that you don't like!
Overall I think the stamps, colouring and matting works very well, no change required.
