I have several Father's Day cards that I'll need this year, so I thought I'd join in on a challenge and get started on them.
This is my first time participating in the colourQ challenge! I really love the color combo this week, and it's perfect for a Father's Day card!
Here's what I came up with. I created the sentiment in Adobe Illustrator and printed it on white cardstock. The patterned paper is die cut so the sentiment shows through. The arrow stamp is from the Square Prints Papertrey Ink stamp set by Maile Belles. The sentiment panel is popped up with foam tape, and a button with twine finishes it off!
Thanks for stopping by....I'd love to hear your feedback on my creation!
Supplies
Stamps: PTI - Square Prints
Cardstock: PTI - White; Stampin' Up! - Certainly Celery
Patterned Paper: MME - Moments
Ink: Stampin' Up! - Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze; TH Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass, Pumice Stone
Other: Spellbinders Circle die, PTI White Button, Divine Twine, Foam Dimensionals

Papertrey May Blog Hop Challenge
It's time for the Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop Challenge! One of my favorite flower sets is Rosie Posie. I don't think I could ever get bored playing with this set. It is just gorgeous ;)
I chose to use the Purple Bouquet Builder photo above as my inspiration and color palette.
All the flowers and the two large leaves are die cut. The smaller flowers are popped up with foam tape. The "thanks" sentiment is from the Mini Blooms set.
Thanks for taking a peek!
Supplies
Stamps: PTI - Rosie Posie, Mini Blooms (sentiment)
Cardstock: PTI - White
Ink: PTI - Royal Velvet; Stampin' Up! -Almost Amethyst, Regal Rose, Handsome Hunter, Brocade Blue
Other: PTI Rosie Posie dies, Foam Dimensionals

Case Study Challenge #141
I'm popping in tonight to share a card I made for the current Case Study Challenge #141. The Muse this month is Maile Belles, one of my favorite paper crafters out there ;)
Here is Maile's card. I love everything about it, don't you?!
Here is my take on it. I opted to use the layout as my inspiration. I just love how the hearts look stacked up in columns so I chose the PTI flower set, Mini Blooms, designed by Maile, and stacked the individual flowers in columns. If you look closely enough, I die cut 3 of the flowers and adhered with dimensional tape. For a final finishing touch, 3 sequins give it a little shine ;)
Supplies
Stamps: PTI - Mini Blooms
Cardstock: PTI - White
Ink: Stampin' Up! - So Saffron, Rich Razzleberry, Sage Shadow
Other: PTI Mini Blooms dies, Sequins - Joann Fabrics, Foam Dimensionals

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Moms out there! I hope you are enjoying your day doing something you love. This is my first Mother's Day, as I'm expecting twin boys in the next few weeks! :)
I finally got a chance to use a stamp set designed by one of my favorite stamp designers, Maile Belles. It's the Happy Hydrangeas set. I used it for all three MD cards, all with similar colors, but different layouts. I'm very happy with the way they turned out! What about you? I'd love to hear feedback!
The Rock 'n Roll technique was used for the blooms, and the diecut is adhered with foam tape.
The light purple blooms are diecut and adhered with foam tape.
The oval frame and ribbon are diecut and adhered with foam tape.
Supplies
Stamps: PTI - Happy Hydrangeas
Cardstock: PTI - White
Ink: Stampin' Up! - Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Lavendar Lace; PTI - Royal Velvet
Other: PTI Happy Hydrangeas dies, PTI Buttons, Scoring Board

Uniko Studio Pure Florals: Gerbera Blog Hop & Challenge!
Time for some stamping goodness today! The Uniko Studio Design Team has created some beautiful cards to share with you today. We are revisiting a stamp set that was released last year: Pure Florals-Gerbera! To start the hop, head on over to see Beverley's creation on the Uniko Studio blog. There are TWO prizes up for grabs this month!
If you comment on each DT members' blog, you'll have a chance to win a UNIKO STAMP SET OF YOUR CHOICE!!! How can you pass that up?!? ALSO, you'll see on the Uniko blog that Beverley is hosting a challenge. After hopping along to see all the design team members' cards, pick a favorite that you'd like to CASE, create your project, post to your blog, and link it up in the challenge post!! You do not need to use Uniko products for the challenge, but we would love to see them if you have them! You'll have 1 week to enter the challenge, and the winner will receive a £20 Uniko Studio gift certificate (about $30 US dollars)!!! I can't wait to see the entries for this challenge!
Ok, now on to my Gerbera card. I stuck to my typical CAS style. The flower is just so beautiful it doesn't need a lot of other things to take away from it! The white card base is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The white panel is popped up and has rounded corners, the stamped leaves, and the sentiment. I stamped the flower on a separate piece of cardstock, fussy cut it and popped it up for dimension. That's it!! A very simple card to make ;)
One more bit of news - the Uniko shop is currently having a sale that ends today at midnight UK time. Not only that, but there is FREE SHIPPING IF YOU SPEND OVER £50 ($76 US dollars)!!
Here is the list of designers for the blog hop:
Uniko Studio
Aimes
Amber
Erika
Gayatri
Nicki -------THAT'S ME!

CASE Study DT Search Challenge
Hello! I'm here to showcase a card I made for the CASE Study Design Team Search Challenge. The challenge is to choose our own "Muse" (anyone in the crafting industry whose work I look up to), and choose a project of theirs to CASE.
I have many Muses, but today I chose to CASE one of Betsy Veldman's cards. Since my style is mostly clean and simple, I chose Betsy because she uses lots of layers, lots of detail, and I also LOVE her color combinations. So her artwork is definitely "out of my comfort zone", but I welcome the challenge! It was a lot of fun!
Here is the card I created. As you can see, I used the same color combo, and turned it for a horizontal layout. Using a Spellbinders die, I layered some stamped die cuts with foam tape for the focal point. Each piece of cardstock has ink around the edges to give even more dimension. A few dots of Stickles in the corners, and a couple buttons with twine finish off the card.
Supplies
Stamps: PTI - Quilled Elegance
Cardstock: PTI - Rustic Cream
Ink: Stampin' Up! - Cool Caribbean, So Saffron; TH Distress - Pumice Stone
Other: Spellbinders Die, Buttons - PTI, Twine, Silver Stickles, Dimensionals

PTI MIM #112 - Embossed Alpha Die Cuts
I'm sneaking in my project for the current PTI Make it Monday #112 - Embossed Alpha Die Cuts!
I wanted to make the embossed letters have some character, so I used one of the stamps from the Square Prints set and stamped the stripes onto the white die cut letters. Then, covered them in embossing ink, and embossed with clear EP.
Here is a close-up of the embossed letters. I love the way it shines!
Thanks for visiting!
Supplies
Stamps: PTI - Boy Basics: Rock On (guitar); Square Prints (stripes); Think Big Favorites #12 (HAPPY)
Cardstock: PTI - White, Royal Velvet; Stampin' Up! - Kraft
Ink: PTI: Royal Velvet, Kraft; TH Distress: Fired Brick; Stampin' Up! - Mellow Moss
Other: PTI Lowercase alpha dies; clear embossing powder; dimensionals

Uniko Studio April Full Product Release and DT Blog Hop!!
So, have you enjoyed seeing all the Uniko Studio New Product Introductions & Sneak Peeks over the last few days?!?! Which has been your favorite? Well, today is the big day! I'm here to show you the full product release for April, along with some more projects showcasing these wonderful stamps and dies! It's all now available for purchase on the Uniko Studio website. Oh, and another bonus - they now offer FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING on orders over £50 (USD $76, CAD 78, EUR 59)!!
Ok, now it's time to show you my creations!
This is one of my favorites. Can you believe I incorporated FOUR different products in this card?! That's pretty incredible considering it's a CAS card :) The flowers on the Bright Butterfly die cuts are stamped in black and are from Flower Power #1. The edges are inked in black, then popped up for dimension. The horizontal lines with the circles is from the Background Builders: Round in Circles set, stamped on Soft Stone cardstock, and then a layer of vellum is placed on top of it. Some grey rhinestones finish it off.
I used a Watercolor Technique I've never done before. It was very easy, and I'm pleased with the results. If I had more distress inks, I would have added more color to the flowers, but hopefully you can see the orangy color in the center of each flower, and then of course the pink.
Using a stamp from the Background Basics: Round in Circles set, I curved it on the acrylic block and stamped on angles to create kind of a party decoration look. Then, from the Label Love: Birthday set, I added a few polka dotted balloons to create a super festive Birthday card! The sentiment is taken from the Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum set.
Are you ready to see what the other Design Team members have cooked up?! Be sure to join along in the FABULOUS Blog Hop! You have until Sunday, April 14th to leave a comment on each blog below to be entered for a chance to win the ENTIRE April Release!!
