In case you missed my last post, I wasn't able to have cards ready for the big Uniko Studio Countdown to Christmas blog hop last week since my stamps arrived late. Good news....the stamps are in my possession and have been inked up!! ;) So now I have some cards to share. All the stamps used here are now available to purchase on the Uniko Studio website. I've included links to the sets at the bottom of the post in the supply list.
My first card uses non-traditional Christmas colors, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! I based the colors off of the current Cure for the Monday Blues Challenge #36. I even scored a few horizontal lines at the top of the card to mimic the lines in the wooden xmas tree (it's really hard to see though!).
My next card uses a new sentiment that I really love. It's stamped on vellum and adhered to the card base, which I created using this technique by Jennifer McGuire. I LOVE this technique! Creates such a beautiful background (the picture does NOT do it justice!) so I didn't want to put much over it! A couple strips of gold foil paper gives it a very special finishing touch.
The last card is super CAS and I'm loving it ;) Building that wreath was so fun. I love watching it transform from a plain white card to a delicate, beautiful wreath! The sentiment is stamped separately and popped up with foam tape.
I hope I've inspired you to finish up those Christmas cards if you haven't already!! Be sure to hop on over to Amber's & Nath's blogs to see their creations with the new sets! Make sure to leave comments for a chance to win the entire December release! Check out Bev's blog post for more details, and to find the links for the other designers' blogs too!

*if you're hopping along in order, then you should have arrived here from Spectrum Noir*
Welcome to a VERY, VERY special blog hop honoring the wonderful magazine, Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking. You may or may not have heard that the February 2015 issue will be the very last one :( I, including hundreds, even thousands, of others were very shocked and saddened by this devastating news.
The amazing community that has been created because of this publication has made such an impact on my crafting life. Even though I've never even met in person any of you associated with the magazine, or any other crafters in this community that share my passion (ok ok, obsession!) for cardmaking/stamping/etc, I've learned soooo much from YOU! Because of you, I want to be better at what I do!
With that said, I want to first thank everyone at PC&S for all your hardwork, inspiration, and encouraging words along the way. As one door closes, may bigger and better doors open for each and every one of you!! I look forward to following your journeys through the new doors. And always remember.....You will be Forever Fabulous! ;)
The next stop is Asty Purbasari! If you want to start at the beginning, head over to Jennifer McGuire's blog. Enjoy the rest of the hop!

Welcome to the next challenge over at Uniko Studio! We are back to a color palette and CAS theme this month. You are free to use any of your
Uniko Studio clear stamp sets or dies, or some of the FREE printables found on the Uniko website.
This is a cool, rustic color palette and inspiration photo, right? Hopefully
there is something here that will get your creative
mojo going. Feel free to use any or all of the colors.
It took me awhile to come up with a design for this. I tend to use brighter colors, but I also thought this is a great masculine color palette! With several birthdays coming up next month for some guys in my life, it was perfect to start on their cards ;)
I am actually really happy with the overall design! This is what I love about challenges. They make me think outside the box because I know I would have never created this on my own, especially this color scheme. I'm loving the added texture at the bottom of the card. All stamps used are from the Strike a Pose stamp set.
You've got plenty of time to enter your project. November 14th, 09:00 UK time is the deadline. The winner will be announced by November 17th on the Uniko Studio blog.

Hey there! Happy World Card Making Day! I hope you were able to squeeze some time in to create for this very fun day ;) I think this is the first time in a few years I was free to craft on WCMD!!
I have a card to share with you, but I must tell you that I didn't actually make it today. Is that wrong?! I worked on creating cards for the WCMD contest being held by Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking Magazine. Therefore, I cannot share those cards with you here on the blog. Instead, I'm FINALLY posting another card that I made for the Stamping Royalty 2014 contest earlier in the year (I was a winner in the Thank You category!). It's not my winning card, but one of seven entries I sent in. I really love this one! It's very different from my usual CAS style. Hope you enjoy!
If you're curious and want to see another card I submitted to the Stamping Royalty contest, check out this post ;)
Supplies:
Stamps: PTI - Doodlie Do, Background Basics: Super Stripes; Uniko Studio - All Occasion Sentiments #1
Cardstock: PTI - White; DCWV - Gold glitter cardstock
Ink: PTI - True Black
Other: Prisma Color pencils

Welcome to the next challenge over at Uniko Studio! We are back to a color palette and CAS theme this month. You are free to use any of your
Uniko Studio clear stamp sets or dies, or some of the FREE printables found on the Uniko website.
Isn't this a unique but fun color combination?! Hopefully
there is something in this color palette that will get your creative
mojo going. Feel free to use any or all of the colors.
I chose to use the teal colors in my card (one of my very favorite colors!). I love how there are three shades of it. I've been playing more with the Ranger Distress Inks, and I wanted to try creating an ombre background. So that's what I did! I inked and inked and inked that card base with Peacock Feather Distress Ink, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I tried so hard to make it blend smoothly...that was something I wasn't very good at ;)
The rest is super super simple! I stamped the sentiment, and then die-cut 5 snowflakes and glued them to the front of the card! I used scissors to trim off the snowflakes hanging over the edges ;)
So glad you stopped by and I hope I've inspired you to create a CAS card for the current challenge!!
You've got plenty of time to enter your project. October 14th, 09:00 UK time is the deadline. The winner will be announced by October 17th on the Uniko Studio blog.

Welcome to this VERY special blog hop for a good friend of mine, Beverley! A few days ago, she gave birth to BEAUTIFUL TWIN BOYS!! The Uniko Studio design team has teamed up for this awesome blog hop to honor Bev and her two little blessings.
Beverley - CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so beyond excited for you! Being a mom is such a rewarding experience, and even more so with twins ;) I wish you the best in your first weeks and months as you learn more and more about those amazing little blessings you have. Cherish every moment and take lots of pics! :D
Now, onto the crafty goodness. I made a one layer card (with exception of the star diecuts). I used a technique that Laura Bassen showed in the Online Card Classes - One Layer Cards from a few months ago (yes I'm REALLY behind!). It's all about stamp layering. You can see which stamps sets I've used listed in the supplies at the end of the post.
I started by masking off the horizontal white strip in the middle of the card. Then, I stamped the light grey background, then all the stars. After removing the mask, I stamped the sentiment. Then, the stars were diecut and attached with foam tape for some dimension. I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out! What do you think?!
Ok, it's time to check out the next designer, Gillian's, beautiful card! Make sure to leave her some love! ;)
We are also inviting anyone else who would like to join in on the celebration to create a card for Bev and post it on your blog or online gallery, and then add it to the InLinkz linkup in this blog post!

A fellow Uniko Studio DT member, Ren-Yi, just got married last week! Beverley over at Uniko has organized a wonderful surprise Bridal Shower link up for Ren-Yi, and anyone is invited! Just pop on over to the blog to see the details and all the wonderful cards people have created for her!
I just want to say Congrats, Good Luck, and Happy Wedding Day to Ren-Yi! I hope it was all you've dreamed of and that you made many wonderful memories to look back on! ;)
I am very, very happy with how this card turned out! One of my favorite places for inspiration is Pinterest, and this is the photo I used for inspiration....
Isn't it just gorgeous?!?! I can't stop looking at it! One of the most beautiful wedding cakes I've ever seen.
So, I knew I had to include the gold chevrons on my card. And the beautiful, soft colored flowers. Here is what I came up with...
First, I embossed 2/3 of the card base with a chevron stamp and gold embossing powder. I'm amazed I got them to line up that well, LOL! Then I used PTI's Rose Posie die-cuts and starting stamping away on each die cut. Some of the flowers (and leaves) are adhered directly to the card base, and a few in the foreground are popped up with foam tape. Finally, a simple but appropriate sentiment is stamped at the bottom, on the card base.
Here is a bit of a close up to show the shine of the gold embossing powder!!
I hope you like what I've created, and I would love to hear feedback! Have a super duper happy day! ;)
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Studio - Background Builders: Chevrons, Flower Power #3; PTI - Rosie Posie, Rosie Posie Step 2
Cardstock: PTI - Rustic White
Ink: PTI - Hibiscus Burst, Lemon Tart, Classic Kraft; SU - Groovy Guava, Cool Carribean, Certainly Celery, So Saffron
Dies: PTI - Rose Posie
Miscellaneous: Gold embossing powder, Foam tape

Welcome to the next challenge over at Uniko Studio---Special Occasions! The special occasion could be anything from a Birthday, to a Baby
Congratulations or to a Wedding Card to name a few examples. The
options are endless and everyone interprets challenge words differently,
but that's part of the fun and creativity! Whether you use any of your
Uniko Studio clear stamp sets or dies, or some of the FREE printables found on the Uniko website, you have total freedom to create something awesome. So, what are you waiting for? Let's get crafty!
My special occasion card is for a good friend who is expecting twin girls in a few months! I'm really loving the Sweet Baby stamp set.
The card base was stamped repeatedly (in a pattern) with the "BABY" stamp. I actually stamped off for every impression to get a lighter, softer shade. An angled shape was cut from white and smokey shadow card stock, layered, and adhered to the base. On a separate piece of white card stock, I stamped the small, long, solid dot stamp from BB: Round in Circles stamp set to get a polka dot patterned paper look. Then, on top of that, I stamped the large teddy bear twice, and fussy cut them. Popped up with some foam tape, they give the card some dimension. The sentiment is nestled right in the point of the angle ;)
So glad you stopped by and I hope I've inspired you to create a Special Occasion card for the current challenge!!
You've got plenty of time to enter your project. September 14th, 09:00 UK time is the deadline. The winner will be announced by September 17th on the Uniko Studio blog.
The Prizes:
- A £20 Gift Certificate to the Winner & Guest Design Team spot on the blog for the next challenge
- Top Three Spotlight & £5 Gift Certificate
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Studio - Sweet Baby, Background Builders: Round in Circles
Cardstock: PTI - White, Smokey Shadow
Ink: PTI - Smokey Shadow, Hibiscus Burst

Hello, and welcome to another FABULOUS release day for Uniko Studio! As you might have heard, today is the official reveal and release of the new products we've been sneaking for you over the last week or so.
If you've been joining in on the fun since the Sneak Peeks you might want to check HERE to see if you are a mystery prize winner!
Now grab a drink and let's get to the fun and see these new clear stamp sets...
BIG & BOLD is a new mini series featuring a big & bold word as the focus along with some accent sentiments & images. This little set has many possibilities used on it's own but will coordinate with other Uniko Studio products for even more!
Next we have a new Flower Power set...
As you can see the set features a 2 step stamping rose and get well themed sentiments, it also has two single leaf stamps which will provide SO many stamping options within this series. There were a lot of you that guessed correctly and if you recognise the flower it's because it's a larger version of one of the flowers contained in Background Builders:Vines.
Next we have a set that Bev has been working on for some time now, getting it perfect, to be a different take on the trend of cameras, useful for masculine cards but also have a feminine touch! It is a set perfect for scrapbooks and also Project Life too...
Lastly but no means least we have the fourth clear stamp set being released...
With Beverley's current condition, she couldn't resist releasing a baby themed set, and again stepped out of her comfort zone into the cute zone to create this set! Though it is primarily focused for baby cards, the bear and smaller sentiments can be used for so many other types of cards & will coordinate with other Uniko Studio products.
Aren't all these sets just amazing?! What a fun release it's been! I have another card to share with you featuring one of the newly released sets, Big and Bold - Wish.
This CAS card has a strip of polk dot patterned paper on the bottom, and the candles are peeking out from beneath it. I colored in the candles using Tim Holtz Distress Markers. I applied my new Wink of Stella pen over the flames, but they didn't turn out so well! I forgot it was a white pen, so the color made the candles look more faded instead of the brighter yellow they originally were! Ha, oh well! The sentiment was stamped in the green color to match the green candles, and then the two corners were rounded!
BIG & BOLD - Wish £4.95

BIG & BOLD is a new mini series featuring a big & bold word as the focus along with some accent sentiments & images. This little set has many possibilities used on it's own but will coordinate with other Uniko Studio products for even more!
Next we have a new Flower Power set...
Flower Power #6 £4.95

As you can see the set features a 2 step stamping rose and get well themed sentiments, it also has two single leaf stamps which will provide SO many stamping options within this series. There were a lot of you that guessed correctly and if you recognise the flower it's because it's a larger version of one of the flowers contained in Background Builders:Vines.
Next we have a set that Bev has been working on for some time now, getting it perfect, to be a different take on the trend of cameras, useful for masculine cards but also have a feminine touch! It is a set perfect for scrapbooks and also Project Life too...
Strike a Pose! £15.95

Lastly but no means least we have the fourth clear stamp set being released...
Sweet Baby £9.95
Copyright Uniko Studio 2014

Welcome back to the last introduction post for the Uniko Studio August release! Today I'm sharing a glimpse of Uniko Studio's new stamp
set called "Sweet Baby". Beginning August 11th, 2014, you will be
able to purchase
this
set HERE along with all the other new sets being released this month!!
In case you missed it a couple days ago, here is the Sneak Peek photo of the stamp set.
Here's a classic CAS card ;) The card stock base is embossed, and a white panel is mounted to the center of it with foam tape. To create the gradient in the word "BABY", I inked up the stamp with pink on the left side, then inked it up with yellow on the right, and made sure to overlap the ink in the middle. The bottom part of the panel is scored with horizontal lines. I stamped the onesie on a separate piece and fussy-cut it and adhered using foam tape.

Do you do Project Life?? I am not officially a Project Lifer YET, but I would like to start a book for each of my boys. They turned One not too long ago, and I have a TON of pictures from their first year. I've purchased PL albums and sleeves....now I have to print a LOT of pictures! So anyway, I haven't purchased any kits for the cards yet, but I have my eye on one that is Super Cute! So, I thought I'd try making a coordinating Project Life card I can include in their album to match the soon-to-be-purchased ones! Here's what I did!
It's very basic and simple. I stamped each element on a separate piece of cardstock and cut them all out, and attached it to the base of the 'polaroid' image. The "Precious Moments" is popped up with foam tape. I think it turned out cute ;)
