Welcome back to the last introduction post for the Uniko Studio August release! Today I'm sharing a glimpse of Uniko Studio's new stamp set called "Sweet Baby". Beginning August 11th, 2014, you will be able to purchase this set HERE along with all the other new sets being released this month!!

In case you missed it a couple days ago, here is the Sneak Peek photo of the stamp set.

Here's a classic CAS card ;) The card stock base is embossed, and a white panel is mounted to the center of it with foam tape. To create the gradient in the word "BABY", I inked up the stamp with pink on the left side, then inked it up with yellow on the right, and made sure to overlap the ink in the middle. The bottom part of the panel is scored with horizontal lines. I stamped the onesie on a separate piece and fussy-cut it and adhered using foam tape.

Uniko Studio Introducing - Strike a Pose!

Do you do Project Life?? I am not officially a Project Lifer YET, but I would like to start a book for each of my boys. They turned One not too long ago, and I have a TON of pictures from their first year. I've purchased PL albums and sleeves....now I have to print a LOT of pictures! So anyway, I haven't purchased any kits for the cards yet, but I have my eye on one that is Super Cute! So, I thought I'd try making a coordinating Project Life card I can include in their album to match the soon-to-be-purchased ones! Here's what I did!

It's very basic and simple. I stamped each element on a separate piece of cardstock and cut them all out, and attached it to the base of the 'polaroid' image. The "Precious Moments" is popped up with foam tape. I think it turned out cute ;)

Uniko Studio Introducing - Flower Power #6

Welcome back to the next introduction post for the Uniko Studio August release! Today I'm sharing a project that features one small stamp from the new stamp set called "Flower Power #6". Beginning August 11th, 2014, you will be able to purchase this set HERE along with all the other new sets being released this month!!

In case you missed it a couple days ago, here is the Sneak Peek photo of the stamp set.

Here's my creation! To create the blocks of color in each corner, I used Post-It Roll Tape to mask each section. (That stuff is awesome, BTW!) Then, using a Ranger ink blending tool, I applied ink to the cardstock over and over again to create a nice, saturated block of color. For the flower in the center, I used one of the small leaf stamps and created it using two colors. A large yellow sequin for the center ties it all together!

I'm also entering this into the current Curtain Call Challenge. I saw the colors and just love the combo!

Uniko Studio Introducing -- Big & Bold - Wish

Good morning! I'm excited that today I can finally share with you my first project using Uniko Studio's new stamp set called "Big & Bold - Wish". Beginning August 11th, 2014, you will be able to purchase this set HERE along with all the other new sets being released this month!!

In case you missed it a couple days ago, here is the Sneak Peek photo of the stamp set.

Now....here's my creation! The background rainbow was created using watercolor paper, an acrylic block with distress ink, then sprayed with water and 'smushed' it onto the paper! I used this technique shown by the fabulous Laura Bassen. I didn't stamp and emboss the background though like she did.

The sentiment was embossed with black embossing powder on a piece of vellum. Then I cut the end to create a banner, and adhered to the watercolor paper. The dotted line was added using a black marker and ruler!

Uniko Studio Revisited Blog Hop - Chrysanthemums

I apologize for my post being late. But hey, I'm here now, right?! ;)

Welcome to your next stop on the Uniko Studio Revisited Blog Hop! This month, we are revisiting Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum clear stamp set and matching Designer Dies.

Here's my creation! The large Chrysanthemum was heat embossed with white EP on watercolor paper. Using a Ranger Distress Ink pad, a Distress Marker, a craft sheet, some water, and a watercolor brush, I got the effect below. Very easy and I think it came out nice. It was then die-cut.

The card base was stamped with a stamp from the Natures Treasures I set. A full layer of vellum was adhered to the card base, making the background very subtle and soft. The sentiment was stamped directly on the vellum. The flower was adhered using foam tape, and one corner punched with the corner rounder ;)
