Uniko Challenge #30

Friday, March 18, 2016

Hello! Welcome to the March Uniko Challenge. We have another fun challenge this month to spark your creativity...

With Spring & Easter just around the corner, our challenge is to create a Spring or Easter themed card, tag or project.

You can use any products/stamps to enter the challenge, but we do LOVE to see you use your Uniko products. And, if you do use Uniko, there's an extra chance to win a prize.

Email entries welcome, just email a photo of your card to bev@uniko.co.uk and she will add it to the Uniko Flickr gallery and link up!

This month we have another super Guest Designer joining us, Cornelia from Stemple Spass. Be sure to check out her blog!

My card is very simple. The background has patterned papers from Simple Stories. The die cut shape is cut from watercolor paper and the bunny and sentiment is stamped using Archival Black ink. The bunny and small flowers were colored using distress markers and a water brush. The panel is attached with foam tape.

For more inspiration, visit the Uniko blog to see the other designer's projects!!

THE PRIZES
  • The DT will choose a winner who will get a £20 gift voucher.
  • The DT choose a Top 3 who will each get 50 Loyalty Rewards Points added to their customer account.
  • We will do a random draw for all those who use A UNIKO stamp, and this winner will get 150 Loyalty Reward Points added to their customer account

You've got plenty of time to play along with this month's challenge. The deadline for submission is midnight (GMT) on Friday 8th April (7:00pm EDT).

Uniko Studio March Revisited Blog Hop!

Wednesday, March 11, 2015

Welcome to your next stop on the Uniko Studio Revisited Blog Hop! This month, we are revisiting Flower Power #4 clear stamp set.

I am entering this in Virginia's View Challenge #13: All Things Embossed. You should check out Virginia's projects as well as the ones in the InLinkz link up! There are some BEAUTIFUL projects, all waiting for you to see them and be inspired!!!

The main panel is water colored with a blueish/purple and yellow, then ink splattered with a brush. The flower and sentiment are embossed with white embossing powder. The flowers were also water colored, then fussy cut and adhered. A very simple card to create. I LOVE the end result! My inspiration and layout came from this GORGEOUS card from Joni Nina Andaya!

Be sure to hop along and simply comment on each blog for the chance to win a £5 Uniko Studio eGift Certificate. You have until midnight Wednesday, March 18th (UK time) to comment and the winner will be announced on the Uniko Studio blog on Thursday, March 19th.

Hi crafty friends! I'm here today for a VERY exciting post. Top Dog Dies has released 10 new exclusive dies! The design team is having a blog hop to showcase all these fabulous new dies, so I highly encourage you to visit their blogs to see all the MASSIVE creativity that this team has up their sleeves!!! I'm so impressed by all my teammies and their amazing work, you don't want to miss this fun hop! So what are we waiting for?! See below for all the NEW dies!

Now it's time to show you my creations! Hope I inspire you ;)

I am entering this into the current Fusion Challenge. I chose to use just the sketch. I'm loving those sun rays in the background on the card base. I wanted to make it a little more subtle, so I layered a full piece of vellum over the card base (it's hard to see in the pic).

I am entering this in the current Runway Inspired Challenge RIC #78 DKNY. I love those angled stripes on the model's top, and thought it was time to try out my new v-shaped stencil!

I hope you enjoy my cards using the new stuff! Your next stop on the hop is the super cool and talented, Piali Biswas! Make sure to visit her and leave her some love ;) If you want to start at the beginning, just visit the Top Dog Dies blog for the full DT blog list.

If you are looking for even more inspiration, make sure to check out the Idea Gallery on the TDD website!

Ok I promised to tell you how you can have an opportunity to WIN this ENTIRE new release of dies from TDD! They are giving away these 10 new dies I introduced above, which is $122 value! You have until March 6th to enter for a chance to win. Please visit the TDD Blog to enter!

Uniko Studio Challenge #9 - Easter

Friday, April 18, 2014

Welcome to the next challenge over at Uniko Studio! We have been trying something new for our challenges, so we would love feedback about it either here on my blog, or over at the Uniko Studio blog!

There is a color palette to use, as well as a theme. So for this month, you can see the color scheme below, and the theme is Easter.

Earlier this week, I received the package with the NEW APRIL RELEASE stamp sets!! There was no doubt I had to use them on the card for today ;)

The yellow flowers are from Background Builders: Vines. I just LOVE that little flower...it's so delicate and pretty. The center was stamped in brown, and of course the leaves in green. The "Easter Blessings" sentiment is from Flower Power #4.

So glad you stopped by and I hope I inspired you to play along in our EASTER challenge!!

You've got plenty of time to enter your project. May14th, 09:00 UK time is the deadline. The winner will be announced May 17th on the Uniko Studio blog.

Supplies: Background Builders: Vines, Flower Power #4

Easter Card

Wednesday, April 20, 2011

Today I have an Easter card to share. My intention was to make this a CAS card, but I didn't like my original idea, so it evolved into this! The colors are very different than I typically use. I'm all about the bold gemstone colors, but thought the pastels would be appropriate for Easter. I added some Old Lace Glimmer Mist to the Large Label piece, but it's hard to see in the pic.
I entered this in the ABC Easter Card Challenge. You still have a few days to enter, so check it out if you have any Easter cards to share!

Supplies:
Stamps: EK Success - Brush Alphabet; PTI - Giga Guidelines
Cardstock: Stampin' Up -Very Vanilla
Patterned Paper: DCWV - The Luxury Stack
Ink: SU - Mellow Moss, TH - Pumice Stone
Other: Dies: Spellbinders - Ovals, Large Labels, Fleur De Lis Motifs; Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist - Old Lace, PTI Ribbon, TH Ink Blending Tool, Dimensionals
