Greetings crafty friends! I don't know about you, but it sure seems like
Mother's Day is sneaking up on us! I can't believe it's right around the
corner. I knew I had to get going on some Mother's Day cards, so that's
what I'm sharing with you today!
I've created this CAS one layer
card using Honey Bee Stamps Happy Everything, Country Wreath, and Hand Lettered Alpha -
all of these are new sets and available to purchase in the shop!
I started by stamping the sentiment using the fabulous MISTI tool.
Then, I lightly drew a curved line with a pencil as a guide for the
flowers and leaves. After stamping all the flowers, leaves, and accents
in grey ink to match the sentiment, I used distress markers to color
them in. Some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finishes it
off!
Thanks for stopping in today! Hope you have a fabulous rest of your week!

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Moms out there! I hope you are enjoying your day doing something you love. This is my first Mother's Day, as I'm expecting twin boys in the next few weeks! :)
I finally got a chance to use a stamp set designed by one of my favorite stamp designers, Maile Belles. It's the Happy Hydrangeas set. I used it for all three MD cards, all with similar colors, but different layouts. I'm very happy with the way they turned out! What about you? I'd love to hear feedback!
The Rock 'n Roll technique was used for the blooms, and the diecut is adhered with foam tape.
The light purple blooms are diecut and adhered with foam tape.
The oval frame and ribbon are diecut and adhered with foam tape.
Supplies
Stamps: PTI - Happy Hydrangeas
Cardstock: PTI - White
Ink: Stampin' Up! - Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Lavendar Lace; PTI - Royal Velvet
Other: PTI Happy Hydrangeas dies, PTI Buttons, Scoring Board

Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I wish all of the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day! My husband and I will be taking our moms and families out for lunch to a local Italian restaurant to celebrate. Mmmmm...can't wait!
I needed to make 4 Mother's Day cards, and instead of making 4 different ones like I usually do, I designed one layout, then used different colors and stamps to keep it interesting. I added some PK Glitz glitter to a couple of them, and it just gives it that extra oomph! I also like the Pearl stickers I added for dimension. I LOVE how these cards turned out, and sure hope all the moms enjoy them! Have a great Mother's Day!!! (tip: click on the image to get a larger view)
