I'm sneaking in my project for the current PTI Make it Monday #112 - Embossed Alpha Die Cuts!
I wanted to make the embossed letters have some character, so I used one of the stamps from the Square Prints set and stamped the stripes onto the white die cut letters. Then, covered them in embossing ink, and embossed with clear EP.
Here is a close-up of the embossed letters. I love the way it shines!
Thanks for visiting!

So, have you enjoyed seeing all the Uniko Studio New Product Introductions & Sneak Peeks over the last few days?!?! Which has been your favorite? Well, today is the big day! I'm here to show you the full product release for April, along with some more projects showcasing these wonderful stamps and dies! It's all now available for purchase on the Uniko Studio website. Oh, and another bonus - they now offer FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING on orders over £50 (USD $76, CAD 78, EUR 59)!!
Ok, now it's time to show you my creations!
This is one of my favorites. Can you believe I incorporated FOUR different products in this card?! That's pretty incredible considering it's a CAS card :) The flowers on the Bright Butterfly die cuts are stamped in black and are from Flower Power #1. The edges are inked in black, then popped up for dimension. The horizontal lines with the circles is from the Background Builders: Round in Circles set, stamped on Soft Stone cardstock, and then a layer of vellum is placed on top of it. Some grey rhinestones finish it off.
I used a Watercolor Technique I've never done before. It was very easy, and I'm pleased with the results. If I had more distress inks, I would have added more color to the flowers, but hopefully you can see the orangy color in the center of each flower, and then of course the pink.
Using a stamp from the Background Basics: Round in Circles set, I curved it on the acrylic block and stamped on angles to create kind of a party decoration look. Then, from the Label Love: Birthday set, I added a few polka dotted balloons to create a super festive Birthday card! The sentiment is taken from the Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum set.
Are you ready to see what the other Design Team members have cooked up?! Be sure to join along in the FABULOUS Blog Hop! You have until Sunday, April 14th to leave a comment on each blog below to be entered for a chance to win the ENTIRE April Release!!

Welcome again for another new Uniko Studio Product Intro! This time it's a Background Builder clear stamp set called Round in Circles. It's a very graphic set...I just love it!
I kept my card super CAS...it's only one layer. Using four different ink colors, I created a top and bottom border using the different circle stamps. Aren't they such fun patterns?!
I added a beautiful sentiment from the new All Occasions Sentiments #1 set.
The other product that is NEW is the Digital Patterned Paper Collection - Round In Circles which was inspired by the clear stamp set. To see a sample of it in action, check out the Uniko Studio blog (link is below)! The other Design Team members also have projects to share with you, so be sure to check them out too!

I hope you've enjoyed seeing all the fabulous creations from Beverley and the design team so far with the product introductions for the April Release!
Flower Power #1 is a fun graphic flower clear stamp set featuring an array of themed sentiments in a trendy font. This set has so many pattern building opportunities!
I strayed from my usual clean and simple style for this one. I had some patterned paper that I wanted to use, and I think it compliments the flower well. I also wanted to use some die cuts since I haven't used them much lately. The Spellbinders die was a perfect fit to feature the flower.
Banners are still so popular these days, so I had to incorporate that as well. One of the advantages of clear stamps are that they can bend easily. You see the "Sending Hugs" sentiment? Well, the actual stamp is in a straight horizontal line, but in order to get it to fit nicely on the banner, I curved the stamp when placing it on the block so that it was a similar curve to the banner! Very simple ;)

Welcome back to day 2 of the Uniko Studio Product Introductions! Today, I'm showcasing TWO new products that will be available for purchase beginning April 11th on the Uniko Studio website.
For you font and sentiment lovers out there, you've struck gold with a set called All Occasion Sentiments #1! Not only are the fonts very trendy right now, but they are on a larger scale so they really take center stage on your projects!
The second product for today is a digital patterned paper collection called On the Grid. It features 6 different grid designs in 5 popular Stampin' Up! colors.
My card features one of the patterns of the grid paper, using all the colors included. It makes for a fun background! I just trimmed a strip of each color and adhered to the card base.
On the Spellbinders die cut shape, I stamped the "Just a note" sentiment in black ink, and found some matching pearl stickers to place underneath. Finally, I added dimension using foam tape.
Now, it's time to see what some of the other Design Team members have in store for you! Of course, you'll want to also stop at the Uniko Studio Blog to see what beauties Beverley has to share!

The April 2013 Release sees the launch of the BRAND NEW Uniko Studio
Designer Dies! The first set of dies to be launched coordinate perfectly
with the previously released BRIGHT Butterflies clear stamp set.
This might not be NEW news to you as they've been in use on the Uniko Studio blog for a week or so now! Today they get a little introductory spotlight not only by me but by Beverley and some of the Uniko Studio Design Team including April's Guest Designer, Taheerah!
Die cuts are one of my favorite paper crafting supplies. They can add so much to a simple card.
Here, I've created multi-colored butterflies using the new dies. All I did was cut strips of cardstock, adhere it to a black cardstock base, then die cut the butterflies! The middle one has black rhinestones in the center, and the two smaller ones have black sparkly stickles. I attached them to the card base using the center of the butterflies, and lifted their wings slightly. I've added three vertical score lines on either side, rounded the right corners, and added the thank you sentiment in white at the bottom.
Now, it's time to see what some of the other Design Team members have in store for you! Of course, you'll want to also stop at the Uniko Studio Blog to see what beauties Beverley has to share!
